On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.4 pts more than its Oil Gas & Consumable Fuels peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Chakshu Goyal, Promoter and Whole-Time Director of Anmol India, pledged 32,95,400 shares (5.79% of capital) to SBI as collateral for Rs. 155 crore credit facilities availed by the company. Post-pledge, his encumbered holding rises to 1,00,23,900 shares (17.61%). Total promoter encumbrance now exceeds 50% of promoter shareholding and 20% of total share capital. Loan proceeds will be used for company working capital and general corporate needs.
Higher promoter pledge level raises risk if loan defaults trigger invocation. Pledge is for company borrowing, not personal use, which is less concerning but still adds leverage risk.
