Fraser and Company has entered into a settlement agreement with Shradha Landmark Pvt Ltd and 11 other Shraddha Group entities to recover Rs. 8 crores in long-pending trade receivables. As per an NCLAT order dated 03.09.2025, the first tranche of Rs. 4 crores was paid via demand draft and credited to Fraser's bank account on 21.09.2025. The second tranche of Rs. 4 crores will be settled through four 2-BHK flats in Shiv Mangal Residency, Bhandup (Mumbai), with possession expected by 22.12.2025 and occupancy certificate by 22.03.2026. Fraser had filed litigation in NCLT in 2023, which was admitted in its favour in August 2025; Shraddha appealed at NCLAT, leading to the settlement. Upon execution, the CIRP (Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process) against Shraddha will be withdrawn. Fraser has operational creditor payables of around Rs. 5 crores, which it plans to settle using the recovered amounts.
This is positive for Fraser as it converts a stuck ~Rs. 8 crore receivable into Rs. 4 crore in cash plus Rs. 4 crore in real estate assets, enabling it to pay down its own ~Rs. 5 crore operational creditor dues. The stock may see some relief given recovery of a long-pending debt, though the flats add illiquid real estate exposure rather than full cash recovery.
