Ansal Housing has informed BSE about the latest hearing of a Section 7 Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code case filed against the company by Rajiv Kumar Mahajan and others (Case No. IA(I.B.C) - 48/2025), which seeks to initiate Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against the company. The case was heard at the NCLT on 5th May 2025 but has been adjourned, with the next hearing scheduled for 30th June 2025. The matter also relates to the restoration of an earlier main petition (C.P. (I.B)- 1369/2019). No order has been passed in this update — the proceedings remain ongoing.
The insolvency petition is still pending and has simply been pushed to a later date, so there is no immediate resolution for shareholders. However, the ongoing Section 7 proceedings mean the threat of insolvency remains and investors should watch the next hearing on 30th June 2025 closely.
