Ansal Housing Limited informed BSE about the status of a Section 7 Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code case filed against it by Rajiv Kumar Mahajan and others before the NCLT. The case seeks initiation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against the company. The hearing was scheduled for 8th April 2025 but has been adjourned and is now listed for the next hearing on 5th May 2025. The case is connected to a restoration application linked to an earlier Company Petition (C.P.(I.B)-1369/2019).
The insolvency petition is still pending and has not been admitted by the NCLT, so no formal CIRP has begun yet. However, the continued existence of this case keeps uncertainty around the company's financial position and is a negative overhang for shareholders.
