Ansal Properties & Infrastructure (APIL) has disclosed to the stock exchanges its default on bank and financial institution loans for the quarter ending 31st December 2025. Of the total ₹196.34 crore in bank/FI loan principal outstanding, ₹193.67 crore is in default, meaning nearly 99% of bank borrowings are unpaid. The company's total financial indebtedness stands at ₹282.72 crore. APIL has been under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) since 25th February 2025, with Resolution Professional Navneet Kumar Gupta managing its affairs. A resolution plan for one project (Serene Residency) was approved by NCLT in October 2025, but the main company's CIRP is still ongoing.
This is a mandatory quarterly default disclosure required by SEBI for companies under CIRP, so it carries no new negative surprise but confirms the company remains deeply distressed with almost its entire bank debt in default. Shareholders should expect negligible recovery as the company is being resolved under IBC, and equity is likely to be significantly diluted or wiped out depending on the final resolution plan.
