On the reaction day the stock moved 10.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 8.9 pts less than its Oil Exploration & Production peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Quarterly revenue rose 116% to Rs 12,168 lakh and net profit rose 385% to Rs 5,729 lakh. Half-year profit was Rs 11,161 lakh versus Rs 2,303 lakh. A revised oil and gas asset life reduced depreciation by Rs 1,691 lakh in the quarter and Rs 2,884 lakh in the half year. Other income included a Rs 650 lakh tax refund. A Rs 1,000 lakh impairment was booked in June. The auditor raised no qualification but highlighted the estimate change.
Results look positive, but much of the profit rise came from lower depreciation and a tax refund, so underlying earnings grew less than reported.
