Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited has informed the Exchange about the outcome of the Litigation impacting the Company

The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, on May 05, 2026, dismissed the Special Leave Petition filed by Bhiwandi Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNCMC), upholding a ₹15 crore settlement between the two parties. The dispute originated in 2013 when Antony Waste initiated arbitration over BNCMC's breach of a 2005 Solid Waste Management contract. The arbitrator initially ruled in the company's favor for over ₹15 crore with interest, after which BNCMC agreed to settle for ₹15 crore. The Bombay High Court recorded this compromise in July 2020 and upheld it in March 2021. BNCMC then challenged the order in the Supreme Court, which has now been dismissed. The Supreme Court has directed BNCMC to disburse the ₹15 crore within three months, failing which interest at 9% per annum applies from the date of the original compromise.
