The Supreme Court of India, on May 5, 2026, dismissed a Special Leave Petition filed by Bhiwandi Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNCMC) challenging a settlement agreement. This ends a prolonged legal dispute stemming from a 2005 Solid Waste Management contract where BNCMC breached terms, leading the company to initiate arbitration in 2013.
