Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust's unitholders approved two key resolutions via postal ballot. First, issuance of units on a preferential basis for an aggregate cash consideration of up to ₹696.45 crores was approved with 99.77% votes in favour. Second, the acquisition of 74% equity share capital and other securities in ROFO assets (entities holding solar power assets) was approved with 99.76% votes in favour. Voting was conducted remotely through KFin Technologies between January 25 and February 18, 2026. Both public institutional and non-institutional unitholders overwhelmingly supported the resolutions, with zero votes against either proposal.
This paves the way for the Trust to raise up to ₹696.45 crores in fresh capital via a preferential unit issuance and to proceed with acquiring 74% stakes in solar power assets, which could expand the Trust's renewable energy portfolio. The near-unanimous approval signals strong unitholder confidence in the capital raise and acquisition strategy.
