APL Apollo reported Q1 FY27 sales volume of 744,823 ton, down 6% YoY, but EBITDA per ton rose 18% YoY to Rs 5,522 on improved sales mix. Management called volumes below expectations due to soft demand and geopolitical issues, but expects 2H FY27 to improve on higher infrastructure spending. Capacity expansion to 8 Mn Ton by FY28 remains on track.
Mixed quarter with weak volumes offset by strong per ton profitability. Management expects demand recovery in 2H FY27, supporting stock sentiment.
