Apollo Micro Systems reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹225.6 crore in Q2FY26, up 40% year-on-year from ₹160.7 crore in Q2FY25 and 69% sequentially. Profit after tax surged 91% YoY to ₹30 crore, up from ₹15.7 crore, while EBITDA grew 80% YoY to ₹59.2 crore. EBITDA margin expanded sharply by 600 basis points to 26% (from 20%), and PAT margin improved 350 bps to 13.3%. The company also announced the acquisition of IDL Explosives Ltd as a step toward becoming a fully integrated Tier-1 defence OEM, and guided for 45–50% revenue CAGR over the next two years from the core business alone.
Strong beat on revenue, profitability and margins signals robust operating leverage and execution of the defence order book. The acquisition and bullish forward guidance could be positive for the stock, though investors should watch integration risks of IDL Explosives and dependence on defence-cycle demand.
