Apollo Micro Systems posted strong Q2 FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations rising to ₹225.26 crore from ₹160.71 crore in Q2 FY25, a jump of about 40% year-on-year. Half-year revenue grew to ₹358.85 crore vs ₹251.91 crore in H1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax (PAT) for Q2 surged to ₹33.05 crore (vs ₹15.87 crore) while H1 PAT nearly doubled to ₹52.47 crore (vs ₹24.48 crore). Earnings per share for Q2 came in at ₹1.02 (basic) vs ₹0.53 earlier. The Board also noted that 21.07 lakh share warrants were converted into equity shares at a premium of ₹113, and a subsidiary (Apollo Defence Industries) paid ₹107 crore toward acquiring IDL Explosives as a step-down subsidiary.
The sharp top-line and bottom-line growth is positive for shareholders, signaling strong order execution and improving profitability. However, investors should note that standalone operating cash flow turned sharply negative (around ₹189 crore outflow in H1 FY26 versus inflow last year) due to a big jump in receivables and inventory, and borrowings have risen materially to fund capacity expansion and acquisitions.
