Consolidated Q2FY26 sales volume rose 8% to 21,685 tonnes, but revenue fell 6% to Rs 236 crore. Operating profit before depreciation, interest and tax dropped 19% to Rs 15.8 crore, margin eased to 6.7% from 7.7%, and profit after tax fell 65% to Rs 1.6 crore. In H1FY26, revenue declined 9% to Rs 510.7 crore and profit after tax fell 41% to Rs 9.8 crore. Management cited weak demand, delayed monsoon and slower government spending.
Weaker revenue, margin and profit suggest near-term pressure on earnings and stock sentiment, though an H2 recovery and capacity expansion may support longer-term prospects.
