Apollo Tyres reported strong FY26 standalone results with revenue from operations at Rs. 198,162.28 Million (up 9% from Rs. 181,736.12 Million in FY25). Profit after tax surged to Rs. 18,517.69 Million from Rs. 6,294.28 Million, partly due to Rs. 5,736.71 Million reversal of deferred tax liabilities from adopting the new concessional tax regime. Basic EPS for FY26 stands at Rs. 29.22 versus Rs. 9.91 in FY25. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share, taking total FY26 dividend to Rs. 6.00 per share (including Rs. 3.50 interim dividend already paid). M/s. BBS Associates was appointed as Cost Auditor for FY27, succeeding M/s. N.P. Gopalakrishnan & Co upon completion of their tenure. Ms. Lakshmi Puri is being re-appointed as Independent Director for a second 5-year term from October 29, 2026. The audit report was issued with unmodified opinion.
Strong earnings growth with PAT nearly tripling YoY; however, part of the PAT jump is attributable to one-time deferred tax reversal. The company continues to strengthen its balance sheet with improving margins and consistent dividend payouts.
