On the reaction day the stock moved 3.4 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 3.1 pts less than its Tyres & Rubber Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Apollo Tyres Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue rose 6% YoY to Rs 68,311 million, but PAT fell 13% to Rs 2,580 million due to Rs 1,800 million exceptional costs for Netherlands Enschede plant closure. Standalone PAT jumped 68% to Rs 2,772 million on revenue of Rs 47,149 million. Board approved raising up to Rs 10,000 million via NCDs through private placement, subject to shareholder approval.
Exceptional restructuring charges weigh on short-term profits, but India business shows strong growth. NCD issuance will modestly raise debt for capex and growth.
