Aptus Value Housing Finance reported strong full-year results for FY2025-26. Standalone total income grew 17.5% to ₹1,564 crore from ₹1,331 crore, while profit after tax rose 20.4% to ₹692.9 crore from ₹575.4 crore. EPS stood at ₹13.86 per share (face value ₹2). The Board declared a second interim dividend of ₹2.50 per share (125%) and approved issuance of NCDs up to ₹3,000 crore via private placement. Impairment on financial instruments more than tripled to ₹476.3 crore from ₹142.2 crore year-on-year, indicating rising stress in the loan book. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications.
PAT growth of over 20% is positive for shareholders; however, the sharp rise in impairment provisioning raises concerns about asset quality and could weigh on sentiment despite the strong bottom-line growth.
