Q4 standalone PAT fell 47% year-on-year to Rs. 2,976 lakhs while Q4 consolidated PAT dropped 77% to Rs. 1,223 lakhs. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share (125%). Statutory auditors PKF Sridhar & Santhanam LLP were reappointed for 4 years. An Income Tax Department search was conducted in September 2025 with notices received under Section 158BC. Exceptional item of Rs. 4,018 lakhs was recorded due to Asna cyclone damage to industrial salt stock. Current borrowings increased significantly to Rs. 20,317 lakhs from Rs. 853 lakhs in standalone results.
The company showed revenue growth but profit declined sharply, indicating margin compression and operational challenges. The significant jump in borrowings and ongoing tax department scrutiny are concerns. However, clean audit opinion and dividend recommendation provide some stability for investors.
