ARSS Infrastructure Projects Limited, which is already undergoing Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, has disclosed defaults on its bank and financial institution loans for the quarter ended 30 June 2025. The entire outstanding loan amount of Rs 1,62,788.49 lacs (approximately Rs 1,628 crore) is in default. Total admitted claims by financial creditors stand at Rs 4,94,013.95 lacs (approximately Rs 4,940 crore), with CFM Asset Reconstruction (acting for SBI, IDBI, Bank of India, PNB, and Edelweiss ARC), Invent Assets (for SREI), ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank among the key creditors. The Managing Director is suspended and a Resolution Professional is managing the company during the insolvency process.
This is a routine disclosure required under SEBI rules for a company already in insolvency. It does not change the situation for existing shareholders, as equity holders are last in line during CIRP resolution and face significant risk of dilution or write-off. The stock remains a high-risk, speculative bet on the outcome of the ongoing insolvency process.
