Artefact Projects, a Nagpur-based project management and engineering consultancy, reported audited FY25 (year ended March 31, 2025) results approved at its board meeting on May 27, 2025. Revenue from operations rose to about Rs 3,004.6 lakhs from Rs 2,417.0 lakhs in FY24, a growth of roughly 24%. Net profit jumped to about Rs 853.7 lakhs from Rs 521.2 lakhs, up around 64% year-on-year, with basic EPS rising from Rs 7.33 to Rs 11.73. The statutory auditor issued an unqualified (unmodified) opinion on the results. The board also recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.50 per share (5% on face value of Rs 10), subject to shareholder approval, re-appointed Siddharth P. Shah as Whole Time Director for three years, and appointed new secretarial and internal auditors.
Strong headline growth in revenue and profit, combined with an unqualified audit and a modest dividend, is supportive for shareholders. However, operating cash flow was sharply negative at about Rs (1,902) lakhs despite the healthy profit, largely due to a large increase in non-current assets and movement in loans/advances – this mismatch between reported profit and cash generation is a watch-point for investors.
