Artificial Electronics Intelligent Material Ltd reported a sharp jump in business for Q2 FY26, with revenue from operations rising to Rs 3,304.80 lakh from just Rs 361.50 lakh in Q2 FY25 — roughly a 9-fold increase. Half-yearly revenue stood at Rs 3,979.80 lakh versus Rs 469.50 lakh a year ago, already exceeding the full FY25 revenue of Rs 2,609.61 lakh. Profit after tax for the quarter surged to Rs 975.05 lakh (from Rs 20.75 lakh), lifting H1 PAT to Rs 1,035.56 lakh versus Rs 38.40 lakh last year. EPS for the quarter was Rs 5.75 and for H1 was Rs 6.10. Cost of materials consumed jumped to Rs 2,480.98 lakh in Q2, indicating a scaling-up of operations. However, cash flow from operating activities turned negative at Rs -68.69 lakh for H1, with the company also seeing a fall in cash balance to Rs 163.59 lakh from Rs 385.96 lakh at year-end.
The numbers show a dramatic scale-up in revenue and profits compared to a very small base last year, which is positive for shareholders. However, the negative operating cash flow and rising inventory and receivables suggest the company is funding growth through working capital stretch rather than cash generation, which investors should watch closely.
