AVI Products India reported weak Q3FY26 results, with a net loss of Rs. 44.25 lakhs for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, though narrower than the Rs. 55.36 lakh loss in Q2FY26. For the nine months ended December 2025, total income fell sharply to Rs. 325.79 lakhs from Rs. 496.73 lakhs in the same period last year, a decline of roughly 34%. The company swung to a nine-month net loss of Rs. 137.66 lakhs compared to a small profit of Rs. 3.10 lakhs a year ago, with EPS at negative Rs. 4.16. The results include a loss on sale of assets of Rs. 14.08 lakhs. Statutory auditors N K Jalan & Co. issued a clean limited review report. Additionally, Company Secretary Shanu Jain resigned citing a better opportunity, and Shreyana Koyande was appointed in her place. Auditors were re-appointed for a second five-year term and an EGM was rescheduled to March 17, 2026.
Negative for shareholders — the company is loss-making with a sharp revenue decline and a turnaround in profitability compared to last year, which could weigh on the stock. However, the clean auditor review and stability in auditor appointment provide some governance comfort.
