Asahi India Glass reported standalone revenue of Rs. 467,624 Lakhs for FY2026, up 8.5% from Rs. 431,161 Lakhs in FY2025. However, net profit declined 15.2% to Rs. 32,994 Lakhs from Rs. 38,910 Lakhs. On consolidated basis, revenue grew 8.6% to Rs. 498,993 Lakhs while net profit fell 6% to Rs. 34,506 Lakhs. Finance costs increased significantly to Rs. 19,806 Lakhs from Rs. 12,230 Lakhs due to higher debt levels. Exceptional items of Rs. 654 Lakhs (standalone) and Rs. 1,174 Lakhs (consolidated) relate to New Labour Codes implementation and merger expenses. The Board recommended dividend of Rs. 2 per share. The auditors issued unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Revenue growth was offset by higher finance costs and lower profitability, indicating margin compression. The stock may face near-term pressure due to profit decline despite revenue growth.
