Asahi India Glass Ltd reported audited standalone revenue of Rs. 4,67,624 lakhs for FY2025-26, up 8.5% from Rs. 4,31,161 lakhs in FY2024-25. However, standalone net profit declined 15% to Rs. 32,994 lakhs from Rs. 38,910 lakhs. On consolidated basis, revenue grew 8.6% to Rs. 498,993 lakhs while net profit fell 6% to Rs. 34,506 lakhs. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share (face value Rs. 1). Exceptional items of Rs. 654 lakhs (standalone) relate to past service costs from new labour codes. The merger of three subsidiaries with AIS Glass Solutions (now AIS Consumer Glass Solutions) became effective from July 1, 2025. Auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Revenue growth shows business expansion but profit decline indicates margin pressure from higher input costs (raw materials, power, fuel) and increased depreciation. The clean audit opinion and dividend signal financial stability despite earnings contraction. The subsidiary merger may provide future operational efficiencies.
