Asahi India Glass Ltd reported audited Q4 and full year FY2026 results (standalone and consolidated) on May 27, 2026. Standalone revenue grew 8.5% to Rs. 4,67,624 lakhs (FY25: Rs. 4,31,161 lakhs), while consolidated revenue increased 8.6% to Rs. 4,98,993 lakhs. However, standalone net profit declined 15.2% to Rs. 32,994 lakhs (FY25: Rs. 38,910 lakhs) and consolidated net profit fell 6.1% to Rs. 34,506 lakhs. The company recorded exceptional items of Rs. 654 lakhs (standalone) and Rs. 1,174 lakhs (consolidated) due to past service costs from the New Labour Codes. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share (face value Rs. 1). Auditors issued unmodified opinions for both standalone and consolidated results.
Despite revenue growth, the company's profit declined significantly due to higher raw material costs, increased finance costs (up 62% YoY to Rs. 19,806 lakhs), and higher depreciation. The exceptional items related to labour code changes are non-recurring. Shareholders can expect dividend payout pending AGM approval.
