Asarfi Hospital reported strong Q1 FY26 results with revenue from operations rising to ₹35.66 crore, up about 55.6% from ₹22.92 crore in Q1 FY25. Total income grew to ₹37.08 crore from ₹23.60 crore, a jump of nearly 57%. Profit after tax more than doubled to ₹3.20 crore on a standalone basis (₹3.12 crore consolidated), compared to ₹1.53 crore (₹1.45 crore consolidated) in the same quarter last year. EPS rose to ₹1.62 (standalone) and ₹1.59 (consolidated) from ₹0.78 and ₹0.74 respectively. The board also approved a sanctioned loan of ₹8.25 crore from HDFC Bank — ₹5.25 crore term loan for building an educational facility and ₹3 crore working capital for the Asarfi Cancer Unit. The statutory auditor issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Strong double-digit revenue and profit growth signals healthy operational expansion of the hospital business. The fresh HDFC Bank funding supports upcoming capacity expansion, which could drive future earnings but will also increase the debt load — shareholders should watch for execution of these projects.
