Ashirwad Capital Ltd (BSE: 512247) submitted its audited FY25 results, approved by the Board on May 28, 2025. Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 103.37 lakh from Rs. 164.09 lakh in FY24, a drop of about 37%. Net profit declined to Rs. 84.30 lakh from Rs. 154.83 lakh, down roughly 46%, with EPS halving from Rs. 0.17 to Rs. 0.09. Total income (including other income) stood at Rs. 123.25 lakh vs Rs. 187.64 lakh last year. The company raised fresh short-term borrowings of Rs. 277.20 lakh during the year (nil in FY24) and increased its investment portfolio to Rs. 2,187.48 lakh from Rs. 1,627.03 lakh. Operating cash flow turned positive at Rs. 216.30 lakh compared to a negative Rs. 127.58 lakh last year. The statutory auditor, Sanjay Raja Jain & Co., issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the annual results.
Weaker top-line and profit performance is a negative signal for near-term sentiment, as the core investment/income business has shrunk meaningfully. However, the balance sheet remains strong with equity of Rs. 1,939.55 lakh and the new borrowings appear tied to portfolio expansion, which could support future income if investments perform well.
