Ashish Polyplast Limited, a PVC pipes and hoses manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, has submitted its audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended 31st March 2025. Revenue from operations for FY25 stood at ₹1,601.44 lakhs, almost flat compared to ₹1,594.13 lakhs in FY24. However, total income fell to ₹1,614.66 lakhs from ₹1,669.71 lakhs due to a sharp drop in other income, which included a ₹12.16 lakh net unrealised loss on mutual fund investments from mark-to-market valuation. Net profit for the year collapsed to ₹24.78 lakhs from ₹84.16 lakhs, a decline of about 71%. The company slipped into a loss of ₹39.87 lakhs in Q4 FY25 versus a profit of ₹7.43 lakhs in Q4 FY24, dragged down by higher material costs and the MTM hit. Operating cash flow also weakened sharply to ₹61.15 lakhs from ₹171.88 lakhs in FY24. The statutory auditor M.R. Pandhi & Associates issued an unmodified opinion.
The sharp fall in profitability and a quarterly loss, despite stable revenue, point to margin pressure and weak near-term earnings, which may weigh on investor sentiment. That said, the balance sheet remains strong with low debt (borrowings of just ₹23.12 lakhs against equity of ₹671.74 lakhs) and an unmodified audit opinion, limiting downside risk.
