Ashok Leyland posted record Q1 FY27 results. Standalone revenue rose 10.4% YoY to Rs 9,634 cr; PAT up 2.6% to Rs 609 cr, the highest ever Q1 profit. Volumes hit a record 48,763 units (MHCV up 15%, LCV up 21%). EBITDA margin compressed to 10.1% from 11.1% on rising material costs. Net cash improved to Rs 2,252 cr, up Rs 1,432 cr YoY. Consolidated revenue Rs 13,070 cr; PAT Rs 668 cr.
Record volumes and profit signal strong demand, though margin pressure from material costs may temper near-term upside.
