Ashoka Buildcon's Board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2026. Standalone revenue declined ~18% YoY to ₹5,81,165.66 Lakhs (from ₹7,06,142.89 Lakhs), while PAT surged ~64% to ₹32,232.34 Lakhs (from ₹19,690.38 Lakhs), driven largely by exceptional gains of ₹16,472.46 Lakhs from divestment of HAM and BOT subsidiaries. Operating margin expanded from 7.75% to 8.53% YoY. Statutory auditors SRBC & Co. LLP issued an unmodified opinion but included an Emphasis of Matter regarding an ongoing CBI case in Bihar (chargesheet filed against the Company for alleged irregularities in an NHAI project), where no adjustments have been made as the matter is sub-judice. The Company has filed a writ petition in the Patna High Court seeking quashing of the charges. New joint internal auditors (Hiran Surana & Suresh Surana & Co.) and cost auditors (S R Bhargave & Associates) were appointed for FY2026-27.
The ~18% revenue decline raises concerns about topline performance, though the PAT surge backed by exceptional gains from asset divestments is a one-time event. The CBI case and related Emphasis of Matter add regulatory risk, though the completion certificate from NHAI and the writ petition may provide some relief. EBITDA margin expansion signals operational efficiency improvement despite revenue headwinds.
