On the reaction day the stock moved 2.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.2 pts less than its Hotels & Resorts peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Asian Hotels (North) allotted 65.05 lakh equity shares at Rs 330 each (Rs 320 premium) on preferential basis to Elana Holdings Pte Ltd, raising around Rs 214.67 crores. Elana stake rises from 24.68% to 39.83%, making it the largest shareholder. Separately, the company raised Rs 300 crores via 3000 unlisted senior secured redeemable NCDs at 12.5% annual coupon for 2 years, with monthly interest payments. NCDs are secured by the Hyatt Regency Delhi property. The filing also disclosed Rs 770.12 crores in payment defaults on bank and financial institution loans as of December 31, 2025.
Elana Holdings now holds nearly 40% of the company. New NCD debt at 12.5% against existing Rs 770 cr loan defaults is a red flag for investors to monitor closely.
