Q2 FY27 consolidated sales rose 16.9% to Rs 9,953.9 crore and profit rose 7.5% to Rs 1,067.6 crore. The operating profit margin before depreciation, interest and tax fell to 15.6% from 17.7%. H1 sales rose 17.4% and profit rose 24.5%; standalone H1 profit rose 25.1%. The Board declared a Rs 5.75 per-share dividend, with a November 4 record date and payment from November 13. Dahej VAE Phase 1 began production.
The dividend supports shareholder returns, but Q2 margin compression and raw material inflation may weigh on sentiment despite sales growth.
