Asian Warehousing Ltd announced unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025. Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 44.07 lakhs, up modestly from Rs. 41.93 lakhs in the same quarter last year (about 5% growth). However, profit after tax collapsed to just Rs. 0.02 lakhs compared to Rs. 13.22 lakhs in Q1 FY25, as heavy finance costs of Rs. 20.47 lakhs (nearly half of revenue) continue to weigh on profitability. Total expenses were Rs. 44.36 lakhs against total income of Rs. 44.43 lakhs, leaving barely any operating cushion. The company's auditor, M/s Ramesh M Sheth & Associates, issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. Separately, the board approved a Leave and License Agreement with promoter Mrs. Rekha Bhimjyani for the Nariman Point office at a monthly fee of Rs. 7,500 for 11 months, classified as a related party transaction executed at arm's length.
Weak profitability despite stable revenue — finance costs are squeezing margins to near-zero, which is a concern for shareholders. The related party transaction is small, routine (office space), and at arm's length, so unlikely to materially affect the stock.
