Assam Entrade reported a small loss in Q2 FY26, with standalone Profit After Tax at ₹(0.50) lakh versus a profit of ₹171.89 lakh in Q2 FY25; consolidated PAT was ₹(0.53) lakh. For the half year (H1 FY26), standalone PAT fell to ₹47.90 lakh from ₹199.95 lakh in H1 FY25, a drop of about 76%. Total income for H1 FY26 was ₹388.29 lakh versus ₹1,281.20 lakh a year ago, sharply lower mainly because a large one-time 'Other income' from the previous year's 'Others' segment did not recur. The auditor (Mehrotra & Co.) issued a clean limited review with no qualifications. Operating cash flow remained negative at ₹(210.48) lakh standalone and ₹(209.64) lakh consolidated for the half year, similar to the prior year period.
Weak quarter with a marginal loss and sharply lower half-year profits suggest pressure on core earnings; shareholders should note negative operating cash flow and the heavy dependence on non-recurring income, which may weigh on the stock in the near term despite a clean audit.
