Associated Alcohols & Breweries reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of ₹27,020.52 lakhs, up about 5.7% from ₹25,551.67 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit jumped sharply to ₹2,364.89 lakhs from ₹1,769.34 lakhs, a growth of roughly 33.7% YoY, well ahead of revenue growth. The Potable Alcohols segment led the performance with revenue rising about 11.6% to ₹20,511.08 lakhs, while the Ethanol segment was broadly flat. Standalone EPS improved to ₹13.08 from ₹9.80. Statutory auditor Singhi & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications, and the company confirmed no deviation in the use of funds raised through two earlier preferential warrant issues, which are earmarked for a UP bottling-cum-distillery plant and the Malt Plant.
Strong double-digit profit growth on modest revenue growth signals margin expansion and operating leverage, which is a positive signal for shareholders. The CCI cartelisation matter remains a key overhang to watch, but the quarterly results themselves are encouraging.
