Astra Microwave Products reported strong FY25 results with standalone revenue from operations rising about 15.5% to Rs. 1,044.23 crore from Rs. 904.26 crore last year. Standalone profit after tax jumped roughly 27% to Rs. 143.39 crore (from Rs. 112.99 crore), with EPS at Rs. 15.10 versus Rs. 12.00. The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 2.20 per share (110% on face value of Rs. 2), subject to shareholder approval. Order book stood healthy at Rs. 1,951.53 crore as of March 31, 2025, with Rs. 1,096.01 crore of new orders booked during the year. The company also received board approval to issue up to 20.13 lakh convertible warrants at Rs. 864 each, potentially raising up to Rs. 174 crore. Auditor Price Waterhouse issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Positive for shareholders on the back of double-digit revenue and strong profit growth, a healthy order book providing revenue visibility, and a healthy dividend payout. Watch out for negative operating cash flows and rising borrowings (current borrowings up nearly 80% YoY) which may pressure working capital management.
