Astral posted strong Q1 FY27 results. Consolidated revenue from operations rose about 16 percent YoY to Rs. 1,578 crore, lifted by a newly added subsidiary DSS. Net profit jumped roughly 52 percent YoY to Rs. 120 crore. Standalone revenue grew around 13 percent to Rs. 1,368 crore with PAT up about 41 percent. EBITDA margins improved by about 100 basis points. Plumbing segment revenue rose to Rs. 1,050 crore from Rs. 954 crore and Paints and Adhesives to Rs. 528 crore from Rs. 407 crore. The Board approved unaudited results. Results are not strictly comparable because they include the newly acquired DSS entity.
Strong profit growth and margin gains point to healthy demand, though DSS acquisition limits quarter on quarter comparability.
