Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
NPPA issued a demand notice on July 27, 2026 alleging AstraZeneca overcharged on Betaloc-50 (Metoprolol 50 mg tablets) under DPCO 2013 during June-July 2016. The Delhi High Court on August 24, 2026 stayed the demand notice until the next hearing on February 10, 2027, conditional on the company depositing 15 percent of the demanded amount with the Registrar General. The company is taking necessary steps to comply.
Short-term relief as demand is stayed, but 15 percent deposit is payable and the underlying overcharging case remains pending until Feb 2027.
