Aten Papers & Foam Ltd reported unaudited results for H1 FY26 (ended September 30, 2025). Revenue from operations rose to Rs. 6,675.72 lakhs from Rs. 5,817.45 lakhs in H1 FY25, a growth of about 14.7%. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 227.11 lakhs from Rs. 381.66 lakhs in the same period last year, a decline of roughly 40%, dragged down by total expenses growing about 20% to Rs. 6,383.27 lakhs. EPS stood at Rs. 2.56 versus Rs. 5.45 earlier. The company recently got listed on the BSE SME platform in June 2025 via an IPO of 33 lakh equity shares at Rs. 96 (including premium). Auditor Milind Niyati & Co. LLP issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Despite decent top-line growth, sharp compression in margins and a 40% fall in profit may weigh on the stock in the near term. Investors should watch whether the company can control its rising expenses to protect profitability going forward.
