On the reaction day the stock moved 12.8 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 14.0 pts more than its 2/3 Wheelers peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved Q2 and half-year results and factory expansion. Consolidated Q2 revenue rose to Rs 1,464.24 crore from Rs 898.88 crore, while profit was Rs 1.26 crore versus a Rs 154.07 crore loss. Half-year revenue was Rs 2,681.16 crore, with a Rs 49.83 crore loss and Rs 37.20 crore cash outflow from operations. Hosur will add 75,000 units yearly for up to Rs 58 crore, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar 150,000 for up to Rs 64 crore.
Revenue growth and a small quarterly profit help, but losses, cash burn, expansion spending and Rs 2,500 crore of equity and warrant funding may weigh.
