Atul's consolidated second-quarter revenue rose 21% to ₹1,877.04 crore, but profit after tax fell 13% to ₹158.71 crore. First-half revenue rose 23% to ₹3,724.99 crore and profit rose 31% to ₹412.64 crore. Board approved a proposed buyback of up to ₹90 crore at no more than ₹7,500 per share from non-promoter holders. Price Waterhouse will replace Deloitte from FY2027-28, pending shareholder approval. The review had no qualification.
First-half profit growth supports optimism, but the second-quarter profit decline may weigh on sentiment despite the proposed buyback.
