Sanguine Media Ltd announced its standalone audited financial results for FY25. The company posted a loss of ₹15.98 lakhs, sharply narrower than the FY24 loss of ₹410.16 lakhs, which was inflated by a one-time exceptional charge of about ₹400 lakhs. Revenue from operations grew roughly 29% YoY to ₹12.25 lakhs (from ₹9.50 lakhs), though total income (including other income) dropped to ₹12.25 lakhs from ₹18.10 lakhs as investment-related gains from FY24 did not repeat. Statutory auditor K.S. Subrahmanyam & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion on the results. The company ended FY25 with a cash and bank balance of just ₹13.31 lakhs. No loan or debt defaults were reported and no related party transactions were recorded during the second half of the year.
The narrower loss and operational revenue growth are small positives, but the company remains loss-making with an extremely thin cash buffer, raising sustainability concerns. Shareholders should watch closely for any capital infusion or strategic shift given the micro-cap scale and weak liquidity, even though the clean audit opinion offers some comfort.
