Augmont reported record Q2 FY27 consolidated profit. Revenue fell 27% year on year to ₹15,836 crore, but EBITDA rose 16% to ₹181 crore and PAT rose 7% to ₹120 crore. EBITDA margin improved to 1.14% from 0.72%, while PAT margin reached 0.76%. Scrap increased to about 24.5% of procurement from 3%; management expects this higher-margin mix to continue, though it uses more working capital. In H1, revenue fell 4%, while EBITDA rose 2% to ₹265 crore.
Record profits and stronger margins support investor sentiment, but lower revenue and higher working-capital needs from scrap may keep near-term earnings selective.
