Axel Polymers reported Q2 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 1,071.96 lakhs, down about 23% from Rs. 1,387.22 lakhs in Q2 FY25. For the half year, revenue fell roughly 60% to Rs. 2,241.85 lakhs versus Rs. 5,611.40 lakhs in H1 FY25. The company swung back to a slim profit of Rs. 0.72 lakhs in Q2 (from a loss of Rs. 81.03 lakhs) and Rs. 5.11 lakhs for H1 (from a loss of Rs. 134.08 lakhs), driven mainly by sharply lower input and operating costs. The statutory auditor (Mukund & Rohit) issued an unqualified limited review but drew attention to an ongoing GST search at the factory since July 2024, with Rs. 1 crore already deposited under protest as penalty. Operating cash flow turned strongly positive at Rs. 435.56 lakhs versus a negative Rs. 366.44 lakhs earlier.
A steep revenue drop is a clear red flag, though the company avoided deeper losses by cutting costs. The unresolved GST investigation and a debt-to-equity ratio near 2x remain key risks; the tiny absolute profit offers limited cushion for shareholders.
