On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts more than Nifty 100 and 1.7 pts more than its Private Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Axis Bank's standalone Q2 FY26 net profit fell 12% YoY to Rs 5,090 crore as total income slipped 1.9% to Rs 37,595 crore and operating profit eased to Rs 10,413 crore. A one-time Rs 1,231 crore crop-loan provision pushed quarterly provisions to Rs 3,547 crore. Gross NPAs improved to 1.46% and capital adequacy was 16.55%, but operating cash flow was negative Rs 11,617 crore in H1.
Lower profit and negative operating cash flow may pressure the stock, though better asset quality and a possible provision write-back offer support.
