B & A Limited's board, at its May 24, 2025 meeting, approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025 with an unmodified opinion from statutory auditor SBA Associates. On a standalone basis, FY25 revenue from operations fell to Rs. 13,431.26 lakh from Rs. 16,202.36 lakh (down ~17%), while profit for the year dropped to Rs. 197.35 lakh from Rs. 304.90 lakh (down ~35%); Q4 FY25 remained in loss at Rs. (1,208.31) lakh though narrower than Q4 FY24's Rs. (1,874.89) lakh. Consolidated FY25 revenue declined ~9% to Rs. 26,435.04 lakh and PAT fell ~21% to Rs. 1,102.49 lakh. Standalone operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. (905.95) lakh versus Rs. 1,067.08 lakh last year. The board also appointed Mr. Gauri Prosad Sarma (ex-PNB CGM) as Independent Director, Ms. Binita Pandey as Company Secretary, M/s T. Chatterjee & Associates as Secretarial Auditor, and M/s Salarpuria & Partners as the new Statutory Auditor for five years from FY 2025-26, replacing SBA Associates on completion of their term.
The results show weakening top line and sharply lower profits with negative standalone operating cash flow and rising borrowings, which may weigh on short-term sentiment. However, the auditor change is a routine five-year rotation (not mid-term), and the company remains profitable on a full-year consolidated basis with strengthening reserves.
