B.N. Rathi Securities, a Hyderabad-based equity broking firm, reported its audited Q4 and FY25 results on 13 May 2025. Total income for FY25 stood at Rs 5,790 lakhs vs Rs 5,582 lakhs in FY24 (up ~3.7%), but profit after tax slipped to Rs 967.88 lakhs from Rs 1,014.66 lakhs (~4.6% decline). Q4 was notably weak with total income falling ~31% YoY to Rs 1,107 lakhs and PAT dropping ~57% to Rs 108.87 lakhs. EPS for FY25 was Rs 2.35 vs Rs 2.77. The Board recommended a 10% dividend (Rs 0.50 per share). Both subsidiaries — B.N. Rathi Comtrade and B-Fly Asset Manager LLP — reported losses in FY25. Operating cash flow turned sharply negative at Rs (2,147) lakhs standalone vs Rs 453 lakhs positive in FY24. Statutory auditor M. Anandam & Co issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. New internal and secretarial auditors were also appointed.
The weak Q4 performance and steep drop in operating cash flow may weigh on the stock, though the clean audit opinion, continued dividend, and modest FY revenue growth provide some comfort. Shareholders await AGM approval for the Rs 0.50/share dividend.
