On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.9 pts more than its Household Appliances peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY27 revenue rose 1.5%. Gross margin was about 32%, EBIT margin improved to 4.4% from 3%, and profit before tax more than doubled to INR35 crore from INR15 crore. Consumer Products grew 2.4%, while Lighting Solutions fell 1.3%. Management targets double-digit FY28 growth, about two percentage points above the market, and aims for profitability near double digits. Shekhar Bajaj will step down as chairman at year-end and become chairman emeritus.
Better margins and profit support earnings, but sales growth remains weak. FY28 growth targets and the chairman succession may influence sentiment.
