Bajaj Housing Finance has allotted 1,00,000 secured NCDs on a private placement basis at face value of ₹1,00,000 each, raising a total of ₹1,005.79 crore. The NCDs carry a coupon of 7.02% per annum, payable annually, with the first interest payment due on 26 May 2026. The tenure is about 2.9 years (1060 days residual), maturing on 26 May 2028. The instruments are secured by a first pari-passu charge on the company's book debts and loan receivables with a 1x asset cover, and will be listed on the wholesale debt market segment of BSE. The allotment was approved by the Debenture Allotment Committee on 1 July 2025.
This is a routine debt raise of roughly ₹1,006 crore to support Bajaj Housing Finance's lending operations. The 7.02% coupon is in line with current market rates for a high-credit-quality issuer and there is no equity dilution for shareholders. The sizeable borrowing signals continued growth in the company's loan book.
