Bajaj Housing Finance reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results approved by the Board on July 23, 2025. Total income rose to ₹2,618 crore from ₹2,209 crore year-on-year (~19% growth), led by interest income up 21% to ₹2,493 crore. Profit after tax grew 21% to ₹583 crore from ₹483 crore, with EPS at ₹0.70 vs ₹0.62. Assets under management grew 24% to ₹1,20,420 crore, and net interest income jumped 33% to ₹887 crore. Asset quality remained strong with gross NPA at 0.30% and net NPA at 0.13%. Loan losses and provisions increased sharply to ₹41 crore from ₹10 crore. Capital adequacy stood healthy at 26.94%. Joint statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion with no qualifications.
Strong quarter with healthy AUM growth, improving net interest income, and stable asset quality. Higher loan provisions and a slight rise in operating expense ratio are minor watchpoints, but overall results are positive for shareholders and likely supportive of the stock.
