Bajaj Housing Finance has allotted 1,00,000 secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis, raising ₹1,001.87 crore. Each NCD has a face value of ₹1,00,000 and carries a coupon of 7.08% per annum, paid annually. The NCDs have a residual tenure of 1,798 days, maturing on 12 June 2030, and are secured by a first pari-passu charge on the company's book debts and loan receivables. These debentures are proposed to be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of BSE under ISIN INE377Y07573 (re-issuance).
This is a routine debt-raising exercise at a market-competitive rate. The fresh borrowing of over ₹1,000 crore will help Bajaj Housing Finance grow its loan book. No material positive or negative signal for equity shareholders beyond indicating continued business expansion.
